Mulder swallowed down the rage and tears. As insane as Cain was, he couldn't help but try to reason with him. "Please don't kill Alex. You have me, Cain, you don't need to harm him. I promise that I'll be good if you leave him alone."
Cain laughed skeptically. "So you're not so devoted to him that you'd risk his life, my pet? This is interesting." He smiled to himself. He wanted Fox's love first and foremost, but…it seemed as if his slave would at least behave if Krycek was threatened.
It was too late to recall Rogers. Krycek was dead already as far as Cain was concerned, and Cain couldn't care less. However, Mulder didn't need to know that.
"All right, my love. I shall spare your Alex's life if you promise to behave yourself. However, I expect your behavior to be exemplary from now on. Do not resist me in the slightest, otherwise your sweet Alex will breathe his last!" Cain assured him sternly.
As Mulder sighed with relief, Cain reached down for the whip that was always near. "However, I still need to punish you for your disrespect of a moment ago. Assume the position, darling Fox, and remember, none of your rebelliousness!"
Mulder scrambled to obey. Cain's favorite position for punishing him was on all fours, his head down against the floor, his ass high in the air. He would do anything for Alex.
Cain rubbed his chin thoughtfully as he marveled at how quickly Mulder obeyed. And not a peep out of him either, he exulted to himself. Entranced, he ran his fingers all over the perfect ass displayed so prominently before him, lightly tickling. Mulder shuddered at his touch but there was not a word out of him in protest.
"Nice, my sweet. You're learning. I want you to display this lovely body of yours at all times, in any position I choose," Cain said dryly.
Picking up the whip, he threw back his arm. As the whip made contact with Mulder's delectable backside, the agent flinched but made not a single sound.
Cain was surprised at the headstrong agent's control. He increased the force of the whipping, not so hard as to break the skin but enough to leave reddened streaks in its wake. Soon Mulder's ass was marked with a crisscross of red streaks, but the agent obediently held his position with his ass high in the air as if offering himself up to Cain for the whipping.
Cain was impressed. Mulder's backside must be on fire, but the only sound in the room was the smacking sound of the whip and Mulder's strained breathing.
Finally, Cain concluded the punishment. "All right, Fox, you've convinced me that you're ready to be a good boy." He snorted. "For Alex. I won't have him killed, but don't cross me again, my love."
Mulder stayed in position as Cain once again spread his buttocks wide and speared him with his cock. Cain thrust roughly into Mulder, mindless with lust and uncaring of how inflamed Mulder's buttocks must be after the whipping. He finally came with a howl, wrapping his arms tight around Mulder's waist, holding him prisoner as he spurted and spurted into him.
As he pulled out, Cain patted Mulder's ass soothingly. "That was wonderful, my love. This new demeanor of yours bears rewarding. After your bath, we shall celebrate your new change of heart."
As Cain wrapped his robe around him, he missed the calculating, hate-filled look that Mulder gave him.

"So you've mislaid one of your FBI agents, Assistant Director Skinner. What has that got to do with me?" Rogers coolly replied.
Skinner gritted his teeth in rage. He longed to beat the truth out of Rogers with his fists. However, he kept his temper in check and said, "Rogers, how long are you going to keep up this charade? You've been identified by two men in connection with that psycho you work for! Krycek even remembers you from the night of Mulder's disappearance! So you'd better come clean before you're in any deeper than you are now!"
Rogers shifted in his hospital bed. He put his hand over his eye. It had required thirteen stitches, but it was nothing compared to what Cain would do to him if he told Skinner the truth.
"I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't have any acquaintance with this Fox Mulder or Krycek person, and I'm well aware of my rights here in Bermuda, Assistant Director Skinner. My lawyer should be here shortly."
Skinner felt like bellowing in exasperation. He wanted to take Rogers' head and pound it against the wall, but even an unconventional interrogation such as the one he was leaning towards would take time that they could ill afford. He needed to find some way to press Rogers into telling them where Cain was keeping Mulder.
Suddenly Scully appeared at the door with Krycek. As soon as Krycek saw Rogers, he lunged at him, only to be blocked by Skinner's formidable bulk.
"You fucking scum! I'm going to tear you limb from limb for kidnapping Fox! You have no idea who you're dealing with, you son-of-a-bitch!" Krycek yelled at Rogers as Skinner restrained him.
"Krycek! Calm yourself!" Skinner fumed. "Rogers is going to tell us where Cain is holding Fox, but not if you kill him first!"
"You're goddamn right he's gonna tell us! I'm going to beat it out of him!" Krycek yelled, struggling to get at Rogers.
"Really, A.D. Skinner, your tactics surprise me," Rogers responded calmly. "Do you really mean to unleash this animal on me? It's not going to do you one bit of good."
"Oh yeah?" Skinner snapped, craning his neck around to glare at Rogers, "If I knew where your boss was holding Fox, I'd be sorely tempted to let Alex deal with you, Mr. Rogers! Or else I'd deal with you myself! Don't tempt me, I'm warning you!"
Rogers snapped his mouth shut. He was taken aback by the rage emanating from both men. Fox Mulder certainly inspired some fierce love and loyalty from these two. However, anything these two dished out would not be nearly as horrific as what Cain would do to him if he betrayed him.
"Sir? Can I have a word with you?" Scully tugged on Skinner's sleeve.
"What is it?"
"I want the hypnotist who worked on Krycek to hypnotize Rogers. He will tell us what we need to know if he's under hypnosis," Scully whispered in his ear.
"That's an excellent idea. Call her and get her over here now," Skinner said firmly.
As Scully darted off to make a call on her cell phone, Rogers eyed the two men suspiciously. He wondered what Scully had to say to Skinner.
Skinner firmly pushed Krycek back down into a chair. "Alex, you've been pretty banged up by that fall. Sit down and don't try to attack Rogers again."
"He's mincemeat, Skinner!" Alex hissed, glaring at Rogers. "Unless he helps us, he'll be happy to die when I get through with him!"
Rogers shifted uncomfortably at the fierce look Krycek was giving him. His biggest error, he miserably realized, was underestimating this man.
"You know, Rogers, I can't imagine why you won't help us. What is Cain to you, anyway? He just thinks of you as his lackey, ready to pick up and dispose of his so-called slaves at the drop of a hat," Skinner said calmly, turning to his prisoner. "You're just some servant to do his dirty work, and to hell with you if you get caught. If you're afraid of retaliation from him, I can tell you that our witness protection program is the best in the world."
Rogers laughed bitterly. "If I knew what you were talking about, A.D. Skinner, I'd be happy to help. But I have no idea who Cain is, or your agent Mulder. I've never met either man in my life!"
Krycek let out an enraged yell and was about to jump out of the chair but Skinner pushed him firmly back down. "Rogers, Mulder is my most brilliant agent. He's a good, decent man who has seen more than his fair share of hardship," Skinner said neutrally. "He's also a stubborn son-of-a-bitch. He won't do well with someone like your employer, I can guarantee you that. He won't give in. If you don't help us locate him, his fine mind will be nothing but mush once Cain gets through with him. Either that, or Cain will just end up killing him."
For a split second, Skinner could swear he saw fear in Rogers' eyes. He knew that what he'd just told the man had hit its mark, which is what he'd intended. Skinner had guessed that even though Rogers was a brutal man, and a killer if he needed to be, he was probably also quite taken with Mulder, as was most of the general population.
"That's a shame," Rogers said in a strained voice. "I do hope you find this Cain, and your agent too, A.D. Skinner. However, I repeat, it has nothing to do with me."
Scully reappeared at the door as Krycek glared coldly at the object of his hatred. She had Dr. Schin with her.
"Excuse me for a moment, gentlemen. Krycek, stay seated, or else you're going out of the room," Skinner commanded as he made his way over to them.
"Dr. Schin? I trust Agent Scully has apprised you of the situation?" he whispered to her.
"Yes, Mr. Skinner," the woman responded in a soft voice. "However, I should tell you, that unless the subject subconsciously wants to give you the information that you need, my ministrations might be useless."
Skinner cast a glance over at Rogers, who looked back at them with a blank expression. "I'd like to take that risk, Dr. Schin."
